Pastry Chef de Partie
This exciting, brand new, 90-cover central London restaurant has an immediate vacancy for a talented Pastry CDP to join the team
The menu is shaped by the seasons and showcases open fire cooking, in-house butchery, dry aged meats, house pickles and innovative desserts. There is an open theatre kitchen & grill, separate prep kitchen, counter dining, a cocktail bar and private dining room.
The Head Chef/owner has a very craft driven approach to food. Everything is prepared in-house from scratch with excellent attention to detail. The team is young, focused and work hard. This kitchen is always busy.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Pastry CDP, up to date with modern cooking techniques, even-tempered, quality driven, and above all keen to learn.
Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Passion and enthusiasm for the pastry section.
Relevant experience in a fresh food kitchen.
Creative flair & attention to detail
Team player with a strong work ethic
Meticulous, organised and punctual
Our ideal candidate will have several years’ experience working on pastry in a similar busy fresh food environment cooking to 2AA rosette standard, with experience of bread making, ice-creams, chocolate work and restaurant desserts.
Duties will include working in both the prep and open theatre kitchen on the live pastry counter.
