A fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef to head up a small kitchen team, preparing a menu of fresh traditional Scottish dishes at The Parliament Arms. We are a busy restaurant serving a high volume customers, from local guest to large tour groups. This role requires a hands-on approach and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the following duties and responsibilities.

preparation of a variety of dishes to an agreed specification
high degree of attention to details
able to work under pressure in a busy environment
level 2/3 food hygiene qualification prefered
scheduling
recruitment, training & developing of chefs
placing orders
accepting deliveries
maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
keeping / monitoring food hygiene records
occasional solo working

Other responsibilities will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay from £16.00 per hour
