Description
Head Chef - High-End Venue | Creative Control & Menu Ownership Salary: £60,000-£65,000 Contract: 40 hours per week
We're looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a premium hospitality venue with a high-end clientele and a focus on quality, experience, and refined service. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef with vision - someone who wants to shape a food offering, lead a skilled brigade, and deliver consistency at a high standard.
You'll have the space and support to re-design, develop, and elevate the menu, bringing your own ideas and personality to the plate. The venue is established, well-resourced, and ready for a fresh approach guided by a confident and creative Head Chef.
Why this role? * £60,000-£65,000 salary package * Creative autonomy to develop dishes and direct menu strategy * 40-hour contract offering a genuine work/life balance (rare at this level) * Lead a stable, well-structured brigade * Work in a high-end environment with guests who appreciate quality
We're looking for: * A Head Chef (or strong Senior Sous ready to step up) from a quality-led restaurant, members club, boutique hotel, or similar premium environment * Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire your team * A chef who loves flavour, seasonality, and detail - without ego * Someone commercially aware, organised, and consistent in standards
If you're ready to take ownership of a kitchen where your creativity is genuinely valued - and you're looking for a stable, supportive environment with balance - this could be the move.
