Cafe Lemon, 118 West Green Road, Tottenham, N15 5AA
Busy neighbourhood café on West Green Road looking for a reliable cafe cook to join our kitchen.
We serve all-day breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, toasties, poached-egg dishes (Benedict, Florentine, Blackstone, Royale, avocado & eggs, Turkish eggs, etc.), salads, simple mains, burgers and sides. Kitchen closes 4.30pm.
What you’ll be doing
* Cooking breakfasts, sandwiches and egg dishes to a consistent standard
* Working from our existing menu (English / veggie / vegan breakfasts, poached eggs, omelettes, toast dishes, wraps, salads, simple hot mains)
* Prep, service and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
* Working as part of a small team during busy morning and lunch service
Essential
* Solid experience cooking breakfast and café food
* Confident with poached eggs and classic egg dishes
* Good sandwich / wrap / toastie skills
* Fast, organised and able to work under pressure
* Food hygiene certificate (or willing to get one)
* References from one or two previous employers (we will take these up)
Hours
* Full-time and part-time roles available
* Typical café hours (8:30 starts; kitchen until 5:00 pm; shop until 5:30)
* Must be reliable and on time
