These vintage Cesca dining chairs were designed by Marcel Breuer in the 1920s as part of the Bauhaus movement and produced in Italy in the 1970s/1980s/1990s. Known for their timeless blend of natural cane, wood, and tubular cantilever steel, these chairs are a classic example of Bauhaus design, emphasising simplicity and functionality.

Condition:
The chairs are in very good vintage condition. The wood has some marks in line with age and could do with some varnish, but still plenty of life left on them. The cane is in perfect condition as it has just been repaired, so full new rattan in two seats and one back (hence one of the backs looks lighter, but in great condition). All chairs are fully functional.
