Stunning original 1963 Ercol Windsor High Back Grandfather Armchair Model 478. An iconic Ercol design and a timeless piece, making them both a collector’s item and a practical statement chair for the modern home.

Year: 1963
Original pirelli webbing is in good condition and offers good support to my mind but it can of course be updated should you feel the need.
Original cushions and coverings do not meet modern day regs, I have seen new replacements from 120.00.
Crucially the chair is structurally very sound with the spindles and joints all good.
There are signs of wear and use, example where the hands naturally fall on the arm rest and then push off to get out of the chair there is some rubbing, this is a vintage example and it's had a life, and not brand new.
