Selling my old Stihl 017 petrol chainsaw. This is a brilliant, lightweight saw that is perfect for garden maintenance, pruning branches, and cutting light firewood. It’s an older model but in my opinion a better build quality then my newer MS171, and it shares most of its parts with the modern Stihl MS 170, making it incredibly easy to maintain.
Condition Details:
Engine is in great condition and starts reliably from cold, idles perfectly, and runs well. Its just been serviced with new spark plug, airfiler, fuel filter and oil tank, pipe and filter.
Comes with a brand new 14-inch Stihl guide bar and chain.
Overall its in good, used condition. It shows the typical scuffs on the plastics you would expect from a saw of its age, but nothing is cracked or broken. Always run on proper 2-stroke mix (husky professional xp) and chain oil.
Collection from Cullompton/Tiverton area.
Happy to start it up and let you see it running from cold when you collect.
