150x vintage Cristal ceramic wall tiles-white brown marble/chicken pattern (1970’s retro reclaimed)

Approx 150 authentic vintage ceramic wall tiles manufactured by H&R Johnson Ltd England. Stamped ‘Cristal’ on the back. Classic gloss white background with a brown marbled vein pattern-popularly known as the retro ‘chicken’ or ‘bird’ tile pattern from 1970’s
Perfect for anyone doing a sympathetic mid-century home restoration, creating a vintage style kitchen/bathroom splash back or looking for exact replacement tiles to finish an existing project.
Dimensions:4 1/4” x 4 1/4” (approx 108mm x 108mm). Approx coverage 1.75m x 1.75m but allow about 10% to cover breakages/shaping. Perfect for a small splash back, a feature strip or a small cloakroom basin area.
Condition: used, carefully removed. The front glazed faces are in good vintage condition with no major chips though some expected minor cosmetic wear from age may be present. Some of the reverse sides have residual old adhesive/grout backing that will need cleaning before re-fixing.
Collection and transport:
These are genuine vintage ceramic tiles and are fragile. They are loose/unboxed.
Bring your own packaging and towels/bubble wrap/blankets to layer between stacks is recommended to prevent rattling or chipping during transport.
You are welcome to count and fully inspect the condition of the tiles upon collection.
Once the tiles are loaded into your vehicle the sale is final. No liability or responsibility will be accepted for any breakage, cracks or damage that occurs during transit or installation.
