URGENT Young British Shorthair Female - rare colour

Our lovely Luna needs to be urgently rehomed to a single-animal home (no other pets).

We took her and one of her kittens, but she has unfortunately become hostile to her son now he's matured to 4 months. Our, and the vet's, best guess is she now perceives him as an adult tom cat and is threatened by his presence, especially as she had a bad reaction to the father of the litter after the kittens were born.

Luna was born on 28th May 2024, so is just under two years old, still young. She has been vaccinated, de-wormed & de-fleaded, microchipped, and was spayed on 13th Feb 2026 (hence the shaved patch visible in a couple of pictures). She's fully litter trained, and is currently on Untamed wet and dry food. She likes both fish and meat, and isn't fussy about water, being fine with tap water in a bowl.

She has no underlying health issues, and although she is not pedigree registered, the previous owner, the vet, and ourselves all think she is purebred British Shorthair. Her colour is lilac tortie, which is quite rare, she has a cute little split in her face and the biggest, most orange eyes. She absolutely loves napping and chasing the laser pointer (with a treat to reward her for the hunt at the end, of course). Luna is very food-motivated, so you can always distract her with treats. She loves her cat tree, scratch posts, and boxes. She can be very sweet and affectionate, though is also fine being left by herself. Her favourite activity is making biscuits next to you.

She definitely cannot be rehomed with a male cat and, as we cannot speak to her temperament with a female cat, it is at your own risk if you decide to take her if you already have another female cat. We had a dog that she did not get on with at all either, so think a single-animal household would be best.

Luna is fond of chin scritches and brushing, and loves to sit near you as you do things. She is a sweet girl, but unfortunately we think she finds being with other animals too stressful.

Reduced price due to the urgency, so it's the chance to get a rare colourway cheaper than otherwise, adn with no immediate vaccination / microchipping etc costs! Open to offers due to urgency. Happy both to transport her to a London location, or have you come and collect her if you're from further afield.

We really love her, and will be very sad to part with her, but she doesn't deserve to be this stressed out by other animals, so we're hoping she can find a loving home quickly.
