Hello guys, hope everyone is well!
It is with great sadness that my husband & I are having to rehome our gorgeous baby boy, Bambii 😢.
This is something that took a lot of thought & was not a decision we made lightly. We have asked all of our family & friends yet unfortunately no-one is in a position to adopt him which lead me to post this. We want him to go to a loving home, who will love him as much as we do - if not more.
⚠️ Bambii is in need of a calm, loving home where he is the only animal in the household. ⚠️
I have had Bam since he was just 8 weeks old & he has grown up with my two other cats (both female) s well as my 10 year old dog (female). However he has recently attacked my dog, yet he has never attacked my two other cats.
I’m not entirely sure if it’s dogs that he doesn’t mix with, animals overall, or just my dog in specific. Nor do I know what triggered him to attack my dog, as far as we are aware it was unprovoked - yet there could be many reasons that of which we do not know of.
It honestly was, and still is, a massive shock for us when he attacked my dog. He has never been aggressive whatsoever, to both my dog & myself - nor any of my family. He also has never shown any sign of aggression to us, he has been around my young niece & nephew too and never shown aggression (nor signs of) towards them either, or any children whatsoever for that matter.
He is 1 year & 3 months old, born 30th october 2024 & is extremely affectionate & loving. He is strictly an inside cat, as he absolutely hates it outdoors & is very frightened of the outside. He has been neutered, he is all up to date with vaccinations, he’s microchipped too, flead every month & wormed every 3. He is toilet trained & has no medical conditions. His name is Bambii, yet responds to Bambino, Bam, Bambelion or babyboy.
I’m moving 3 1/2hrs away very soon, and the vets & myself believe this move will stress him out even more, especially considering the dynamic with my dog also.
As said before, we want him to go to a loving home where he can receive plenty of love, attention & cuddles. I believe it is in his best interest to be the only animal in the household, and strictly an indoor cat.
Rehoming him is extremely upsetting, I truly wish it didn’t have to be this way yet he deserves more than I can give him. We would absolutely want and appreciate updates/pictures from whomever adopts him, please.
