Description
Are you looking for a cat who enjoys his independence but also loves to come for cuddles when he’s home?
Sadly, because we are moving house we can’t take our lovely cat Jonah with us, so we’re hoping to find him a calm, caring home where he can settle and be someone’s special companion.
Jonah is a wonderful mix of independent explorer and affectionate cuddle companion. He enjoys spending time outdoors doing his own thing but when he’s inside he absolutely loves coming over for fuss and cuddles. Once he bonds with you, he’s a very loving and loyal cat.
He’s a confident outdoor cat who likes having his own territory. Because of this he would be happiest as the only cat in the household where he can rule his kingdom in peace.
Like many outdoor cats he has had the occasional scrap over the years, which has left him with a couple of small scars and a little ear slit that just adds to his character.
Jonah is generally very easy to care for. He eats well, is quite independent and not demanding but still enjoys human company and affection. He is neutered and he is used to living with children.
He’s also a sensitive soul and in the past had some anxiety which led to over-grooming. However, he does really well with a simple daily calming supplement (very inexpensive and easy to buy online) and is very happy and settled with that support.
Jonah’s ideal home;
• A home with safe outdoor access
• No other cats - he prefers his own territory
• Someone who enjoys a loving but independent companion
• A calm household where he can feel relaxed and secure
We care very much about finding the right home for Jonah. He really deserves someone who will appreciate his sweet nature and give him the stability he needs.
