2 year old male cat - loving home wanted

It is with a very heavy heart that I’m looking to rehome my 2-year-old cat, Oakley.

Due to a recent change in personal circumstances and household routine, Oakley is now spending significantly more time alone than he was previously. Unfortunately, I no longer feel I’m able to give him the environment, companionship and attention he deserves.

Oakley is an incredibly affectionate and loving boy with a big personality. He absolutely loves cuddles and will happily curl up on your chest for attention, often wanting to be as close to you as possible. He really does have so much love to give.

He also has a playful, energetic side and can occasionally become a little overexcited or overstimulated during play or interaction, which can sometimes result in nipping or biting. For this reason, I feel he’d be best suited to someone with previous cat experience who understands cat behaviour, can recognise his boundaries and knows when to give him a little space.

Oakley is neutered and fully up to date with his vaccinations.

His ideal home would be:

* A loving, patient and experienced cat owner.
* A home with safe outdoor access, where he can explore and burn off some energy.
* Ideally an adult-only household without young children.
* Someone who can offer him a consistent routine, plenty of affection and the attention he deserves.

I believe Oakley would benefit from having outdoor access and more opportunities for stimulation, rather than remaining an indoor-only cat.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision and certainly isn’t one I’ve made lightly. Oakley is very loved, and my absolute priority is finding him a safe, happy and permanent home where he can thrive.
