Description
It is with a Heavy heart we’re having to think about rehoming our lovely boy rocket.
He has always been the perfect cat, no accidents always calm and loveable with all children and other pets.
But sadly we recently lost our other cat and since the passing of him rocket has changed, we have tried all vet recomendations but he doesn’t seem to be calming.
He has only recently started scent marking and attacking our other cats.
We thought after calming products extra litter trays etc that he would stop doing this newly learnt behaviour but sadly he hasn’t stopped and we worry for our other cats as he can get quite full on with them and like I said this is only recently that this has started maybe asserting his dominance I don’t know but it’s not getting any better.
He clearly is not the happy boy he once was
So looking into rehoming him so perhaps he lives alone or with less other cat siblings.
Rocket is so loving he loves a cuddle and a fuss his favourite thing is bubbles he loves bubbles!!
Up until the passing of Gino he never had any accidents and was always a kind natured boy, accepting any one and any new pet we brought into our home.
He scent marks on the same areas around the house and any thing new. although it doesn’t stink of Tom cat as he is neutered it does have a musky smell to it. I’m sure in a new home he will not do this as it is a new thing.
We have had him since he was 9 weeks old and he has been very loved, rocket is a big boy and is up to date with all vaccinations flea and worming, he loves going out but also loves a sofa snuggle, so I’m sure he would be happy either going out or being a lazy house cat.
He will go to his new home with a good amount of flea and wormer to see him through, food wise he will eat any thing you give him he isn’t fussy he mainly eats just dry food but has the wet pouch here any there when he feels like it.
Any one that has rocket will be very lucky as he truly is wonderful but being a multi cat household he suddenly isn’t happy
