Family-sized Le Creuset Enzo Mari-designed 26cm cast iron round deep casserole in iconic volcanic orange. Vintage, a design classic, and incredibly rare as few now survive. Oddly, more shallow oval ones do - expensive too! No original lid - again, even fewer survive. Very good overall condition. Exterior orange enamel has a few faint dark marks low down around the sides (to be expected from cooking in oven, on gas hob, and storage), and some nibbles around the rim - photos 6-7. The distinctive Enzo Mari-designed handles show wear from repeated use, especially on edges and behind - photos 8-9. Interior enamel intact, chip-free, but shows expected wear from repeated use and silvery dark marks from metal utensils - photos 2-3. The exposed cast iron base has been cleaned thoroughly and is rust-free - photos 4-5. This lovely casserole has been thoroughly cleaned, and is ready for decades more cooking family meals.
