Description
We are an 8 bedroom home based in the heart of Southbourne, for Adults with physical and Learning disabilities.
We are looking to recruit a full time Senior Support worker to join our friendly team. This is a full time position 36-40 hours a week.
The role involves being an active presence with in the team, carrying out personal care duties, leading shifts and allocations. Medication administration and driving Service users from time to time to appointment and activities. There also will be additional responsibilities of training and mentoring Staff from time to time, Fire Marshal duties and any other tasks that meets the needs of the service. Shifts will include alternate weekends, covering for holidays and sickness, this could be Night shifts or Sleeping duties and to be on an on call rota.
The ideal candidate will be level 3 trained in NVQ or QCF, or a willingness to progress. All training will be provided. Due to the nature of the role the candidate will need 1 year qualified with a full driving licence manual is required to be able to drive the homes mini bus.
