Live-In Carer/Housekeeper - 2 weeks on & 2 weeks off

I am looking to hire a 2nd Live-In Carer/Housekeeper to work 2 weeks on & 2 weeks off.

I am 56 years old and have physical disabilities & I use an electrical wheelchair. I have a positive attitude & a good sense of humour.

I'm looking for an efficient person who enjoys keeping busy, likes having things in order and is good at managing. You must be able to manage your time well & manage my care & my home. This is an interesting & varied job where you will be helping me to get the most out of my life.

Your duties will include:-

Assisting with daily living activities
Personal Care & moisturising
Catheter Care
Accompanying me to all my appointments such as GP, Hospital, Gym etc.
Going shopping, social activities and visiting friends/family etc.
Providing general support & companianship
Running errands, Filing etc.

Also daily housekeeping duties such as:-

Cleaning, dusting, hoovering,
Laundry & Ironing
Keeping my house tidy & in order.
Cooking healthy nutritious food such as salads, curries, meat dishes & vegetarian food.
Light gardening such as potting plants & watering etc.

I also enjoy pampering & beauty treatments which we can do together. I also enjoy playing cards, colouring, quizzes etc. I'm open to other ideas & hobbies.

The person I'm looking to hire must be confident and who can manage their time well. I'm quite a neat person & i like things organised, neat & tidy. Ideally someone who takes pride in their work. With regards to cooking I prefer healthy salads, grilled chicken & vegetables, Currys & Italian foods. I can also teach you new recipes if you are willing to learn.

The ideal person will be someone who is:-

Reliable, trustworthy, confident, organised & has a good memory.
Previous Care experience is not essential as training can be provided.

Pay is approximately £600 to £750 per working week. I will consider applications for Self Employment & PAYE.

This position is for females only due to the UK's Equality Act 210 as this position entails personal & Intimate Care.
