Hi, I’m Amy — an active, sociable person living in a bright, accessible flat just a short walk from Bromley High Street. I have a neurological condition that causes muscle weakness, so I use an electric wheelchair and require support with daily living. My PAs have their own comfortable bedroom within the flat.

I’m looking for a live-in Personal Assistant (female) to work weekend shifts on a week-on / week-off basis: 4pm Friday – 8am Monday £18 per hour | £1,152 per shift (self-employed) No previous care experience is necessary — full training will be provided. You must be physically strong as manual transfers are part of the role.

About the Role You will support me with all aspects of daily care, including:

Personal care and showering
Positioning in my wheelchair
Hair and make-up
Household tasks and food preparation
Assistance turning in bed (typically 0–3 times per night)
Accompanying me to social events, trips, holidays and outings
Driving me in my adapted car — including longer motorway journeys
Giving me medication

Is trustworthy and able to support me discreetly so daily life runs smoothly
Loves dogs — you’ll be spending time with my Chihuahua, Ernie

About Me I work for an advertising agency and enjoy a busy social life. Outside work, I love walking Ernie, spending time with friends and family, painting, cooking, tending to my houseplants, and going to pubs, restaurants, cinemas, gigs, galleries and flea markets. I value my privacy and look for support that blends seamlessly into my routine.
