Carer Required

Description

I am seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional carer to provide overnight support on a temporary basis (initially 1–2 nights per week). I experience severe anxiety and panic disorder, so a calm, understanding, and reassuring presence is essential. I am a young male.

I am largely independent, work from home, and manage my day-to-day life myself. The primary requirement is having someone present overnight to provide reassurance and respond appropriately if support is needed.

Key Responsibilities Providing reassurance, emotional support, and companionship overnight

Providing essential personal care when required, including the changing of incontinence pads.

Helping to maintain safety, dignity, hygiene, and comfort throughout the night

Requirements Previous care experience (must be comfortable and competent with personal care, including incontinence care)

Mental health support experience desirable but not essential

Kind, patient, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach

Reliable, discreet, and flexible

Ability to remain calm and supportive during periods of anxiety or distress

Additional Information Initially 1–2 overnight shifts per week, with potential to increase if required

A comfortable spare bedroom and bathroom will be provided for use during shifts
