Job Title: Care Assistants - [Full/Part Time, Days/Nights, e.g., Full-Time Days]

Location: Birmingham, Solihull, and West Midlands.

Salary: £12.75 - £13.00 per hour

Shift/work Pattern: hourly call, sleep-ins, and live-ins.

Contract Type: [Permanent//Temporary]

At Glorious Light Care Limited, we believe the later years of life should be as enriching as any other. We provide a range of care and support services for people aged 18+ to 65, such as elderly residents living with age-related conditions and complex needs. We're looking for individuals with the right values and attitude to work in our domiciliary care service – could this be you?

Our main priority for this role is to find people with a naturally warm, patient, and compassionate personality who are committed to providing the highest quality of person-centred care.

The Role

Working within a supportive team, you will help provide the best possible, person-centred care to our service users to help them feel right at home, whilst helping to maintain their independence, dignity, and control of their own lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care: Assisting residents with daily living activities such as washing, bathing, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene standards. Companionship: Providing emotional support, engaging in friendly conversation, and encouraging participation in social and recreational activities. Household Duties: Assisting with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents. Health Monitoring: Administering medication (following training) and monitoring residents' well-being, reporting any changes in condition to senior staff promptly. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and timely written records and care plans. What We're Looking For (About You):

A genuine desire to help and support vulnerable people. A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature with a commitment to treating others with dignity and respect. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative. Patience and the ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations. Experience is desirable but not essential, as full training (including the Care Certificate) will be provided. A valid UK driving licence/access to a vehicle is beneficial due to location. Relevant qualifications like Care Certificate, NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care are a bonus.
