Caravan project

This is ugly betty. She’s a bit rough on the outside but not so bad on the inside. We bought her as a trial van to see if we would take to the caravaning lifestyle and this little van has served us well. She was a bit run down so I just tarted her up inside. In the past 12 months she’s been to the Lake District, lytham, Wrexham, Cornwall and the Cotswolds. We have loved having her but are now more ready to commit to a bigger and more permanent caravan.

Betty is by no means perfect but she is functional. She has had leaks in the past that have been repaired, all be it not professionally. Her onboard utilities like electrics, fridge, cooker have never been tried or used by us but we have managed fine by just using a standard hookup extension lead. The toilet and sink have also never been used by us and we just turned the toilet room into a storage room and used facilities on the sites we stayed.

Indicators and brake lights all work fine. She has a spare tyre that will probably need pumping up and I replace her jockey wheel last year.


Hopefully she can be a good project for someone then she can provide another family with a few more holidays before she retires.
