Clamps onto raised roof rail
The world's quietest roof rack is now available for low profile mounting between the roof rails - the "Whispbar Aero-X".
Images show bars on my previous car. I usually did not bother putting on the trim plastic covers.
Two keys supplied, they operate a level that keeps the plastic covers in place and to the access to hex socket screw that tightens the bars onto the rail. They are very quiet and had no discernable effect on fuel consumption. Sun roof tilt option CANNOT be operated when roof bars are installed.
