Triumph 13/60 engine, small crank, high compression engine, rebuilt

Compression:

#1: 160
#2: 155
#3:165
#4: 160

Block bored 20" over, new pistons and rings to fit, thoroughly cleaned and galleries blown through

Crank ground 10" and Tuftride, new King bearings

Bronze tanged thrust washer fitted

All threads chased, new core plugs throughout, mostly new studs, nuts, washers etc (a few good ones reused)

Engine thoroughly cleaned and treated with Frost POR-15 degreaser/prep

All torque settings and tolerances observed

New superior fit sealing block, new oil seals, new gaskets throughout and Payen head gasket (plus one spare provided)

Curil T2 gasket sealant and Lucas assembly lube used throughout build

New oil pump relief spring and valve

"new old stock" standard road cam installed, new timing chain and tensioner, new cam followers

New water pump (in old housing)

New mechanical fuel pump

Rebuilt starter motor

Rebuilt HS4 carb


Head:

Purchased separately but low milage, unconverted and in good condition.

All the budget went into the bottom of the engine to rebuild to a high, robust standard, leaving the head to be rebuilt to new owners specifications.
