Genuine KIA Procee’d Cee’d Sportage Hyundai i30 Parking/Handbrake Shoes
This is a set (of 4) genuine Kia parking brake shoes for a Kia Proceed (2007 to 2012 model). Mine was a 2010 model just prior to the facelift. A search shoes that the brake shoes will also fit the following cars:
• Hyundai i30
• Kia Sportage
• Kia Procee’d
• Kia Cee’d
As I’m not a dealer or a supplier to the motor industry, I’m not 100% sure of the exact models. Please make sure these are compatible with your car. If you’re in doubt then please don’t buy. I’d rather not sell them than have a situation where they’re not the correct item for your car.
To help, another search came up with the following equivalent part numbers:
• Hyundai Part No: 58350 1HA00
• Kia Part No: 58350 1HA00
• Blue Print Part No: ADG04169
• MAPCO Part No: 8556
• Pagid Part No: 103850038
During a routine service, my local dealer told me that I needed these but I wouldn’t pay the £86 per hour labour charge (it’s only an hour’s work at best). Once I’d stripped the car it turned out I didn’t need them at all. To return them I’d have to pay a return charge which meant I’d lose more than half of what I’d paid out. Obviously I wasn’t pleased but that’s another story. Anyway, I decided to keep them and fit them when needed. I have since sold the car so these are now surplus.
The brake shoes are brand new, unused and never been fitted. The linings are dirt and grease free as I’ve never handled them with dirty hands.
