Description
British Leyland B series engine plus 2 gearboxes, clutch and distributor.
My dad bought a 1978 Sherpa motorhome in about 1994. This was the engine in it. Within a year he decided he wanted a diesel engine so swapped it out and it has been under some sheets in his workshop ever since. I’m pretty sure it is low mileage as motorhomes almost always are. The clutch and flywheel are present but not attached. I don’t know if the clutch is good or not. There are 2 gearboxes. I’ve been told that one is a Sherpa gearbox and the other might be a Marina gearbox. The distributor was with it but I can’t guarantee it is for this engine. This engine was widely used across many vehicles including MGB.
