How does the “DuoLift” work?
The support holding the top section of the box in
place on the base acts as a hinge. The “DuoLift”, the
mechanism which allows opening on both sides,
comprises of this roof support combined with the central
locking system which is now incorporated on both sides
of the box. Now the bars of the roof-locking system also
act as hinges. When the roof-box is opened on the right-
hand side, the left side locking bar acts as the hinge, and
vice versa.
Your benefits:
✓ The roof support has a gas pressure strut to slowly
and softly open and close the box
it doesn’t suddenly jump open or snap shut
✓ The owner can easily replace the component without
tools because of a ball joint with sliding clip
option of replacing the entire top section of the
roof box to increase the storage place or change
the colour
✓ no space is wasted inside the box
