Vintage Porcelain Portmeirion The Botanic Garden Wood Lid Container by Susan Williams-Ellis Eastern Hyacinth
Vintage and now highly collectable and sought after tall container from Portmeirion, the Botanic Garden series 1972 (No.108) by Susan William-Ellis, made in England.
The container has a wooden lid with unrestored varnish finish which has worn off through use consistent with its age. The lid has a small crack on the inside, not visible when the lid is on and doesn't affect its usability. The lid has a rubber seal to aid air tightness. Apart from the lid the main body is in good vintage condition. No chips or cracks to the porcelain.
This container is white and features the blue and purple Eastern Hyacinth (HYACINTHUS ORIENTALIS) and some attracted blue butterflies in flight nearby.
