VW T25 Volkswagen campervan, CARAVELLE, 1915 (cc)

Description

I am reluctantly selling my first ever campervan as I have bought a new T5 campervan. This van is a T25 (1988 reg) VW caravelle high top campervan. It has circa 87,000 miles which is rather low for its age.

The van has a passenger seat that swivels back, a rock and roll bed, fridge freezer that still works on gas and electric, a sink, two burner hob and grill, a socket that can be plugged into the electrics outside (240v) and electric via a leisure battery (12v). The leisure battery does power the LED lights inside and it can charge your phone as well (or any 12v powered device). Being a high top you can sleep two more small people at the top. There is an ample amount of storage throughout.

The van is petrol and 1.9l. In two years time you will be able to register the van as being MOT and tax exempt, as it can be listed as a classic vehicle.

Like any van of this age there are some issues. Generally the physical condition of the van is very good for its age. There are some areas of rust though. None of which have resulted in any issues with doing an MOT. The van has a full years MOT on it. A full service was done at the time of the MOT with a new carburetor fitted then. The top sky vent will need to be replaced as water does sometimes leak through it when there is driving rain but I believe a new vent can be purchased for circa 50 quid.
