VW T25 / T3 Campervan

Description

I've owned this van for 10 years, was going to refurb again but decided it's time to move on. Ideal project! It's been all over Europe and UK with me, I will be very sad to see it go but hope someone else has more energy to make use of it.


GOOD
1.9DG petrol engine - goes great at 55mph and does 85mph over in Germany - tuned up by Harry at JPR in Yate
36,000 miles on the new engine - fitted at 197,000 miles in 2010 - I have paperwork
Front panel replaced at last MOT - primed for the refurb but it got no further
Two good trailing arms and replaced suspension all round
Replaced alternator, coil, starter, fuel pump within last 10k miles
Brand new rear brake shoes and drums (but see not so good below)
Stainless exhaust
Swivel captains seats - really comfy and armrests are great to have
Rock and roll bed
New tailgate gas struts
SHC wingmirrors - massive upgrade on the originals (£235 new)
Split charger cabling for leisure battery (I have removed as was flat)
Safe-T pedal lock
MOT and tax exempt next year


NOT SO GOOD
No MOT and been off the road for two years and started irregularly - started easily enough today with a newly charged battery.
Rust coming back, had respray and welding in 2015 but now needing more body work.
Rear brake shoes and drums have been replaced but mechanic disappeared before adjusting! So the handbrake will need adjusting to work, currently chocked and in gear.
Interior worked for us once but time for a change, I have removed some bits for other projects - I can help remove units if necessary.
