Description

Hi there and welcome to the sale of my extremely rare Renault Traffic 145 sport, 55k Miles – all the efficiency of the 1.6l engine with the power and performance of the 2.0l, this is an extremely desirable model.

Additional modifications

In my ownership (from new), I have added a custom “pop top” bed which doubles up as not only a bed but also extra head height to overcome the tow headroom of the standard van – this cost in excess of £3,900 and was supplied and installed by the reputable “VanLidz” in Peterlee, there is also a brand new mattress seal in its packaging included with the sale. I have also had installed the rotating passenger chair base to allow more room when parked for eating and lounging in the rear, this is a Kiravans unit and cost £400 plus £200 installation. The van has had insulation fitted for extra warmth, this is insulation specifically designed for camper conversions. All other modifications are minor and completely removable – I have now moved on to a much larger VW Crafter as I need to accommodate a larger family, and have decided not to progress with the Traffic, leaving it ready for the new owner to finish the customisation to their own requirements, as you can see what I have had done are the most expensive components, meaning even an avid DIYer could complete the vehicle to a high standard.

Service history

The vehicle is full service history with the exception of the Timing Belt, which is now due on age not mileage, this is something I would consider having done for the new owner if I achieve the asking price, or would be open to offering a reduction if the new owner would prefer to have this completed themselves. The vehicle has also recently had all new brakes (discs and pads), a new EGR cooler (common fault meaning the new owner will have at least another 50k miles hassle free), a new stop start battery, recent full set of new all season Hancook tyres. Maintenance in the last 12 months cost over £2000.00

Some of the factory standard spec is as listed below;

· Engine: The "145" in the model name refers to the 145 PS (143 bhp) output from its 1.6 litre dCi diesel engine.

· Torque: It produces 350 Nm of torque at a low 1,500 rpm, which provides strong low-end pulling power for heavy loads.

· Transmission: It is available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional six-speed Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) automatic transmission.

· Performance: The 2.0-litre engine offers a smooth power delivery, quieter operation, and improved real-world fuel economy compared to the older 1.6-litre versions.
