1999 Volkswagen T4 2.5 TDI Camper – German Import – £1,800
Very reluctantly selling my T4 camper, originally purchased and converted in Germany during Covid.
379,560 km / approx. 235,850 miles. Only around 3,000 miles driven since the cam belt and alternator were replaced in 2022.
Recent work includes:
• New glow plugs, oil filter & outer CV boots
• New gear linkage bushes
• Brand-new master cylinder fitted last week
2026:
- new rear brake pads
- New handbrake cable
- welding worth £500 to the undercarriage/arches
- New main battery fitted 4 months ago
- MOT until March 2027
The clutch has gone and needs replacing. I’ve been quoted around £500 for the repair.
Camper conversion includes leisure battery, inverter, relay, safety fuse box, gas cooker, pull out bed/sofa with custom mattress, cool box and built-in storage, plus a plug-in point behind the rear fog light.
As a German import it is left-hand drive, fully UK registered and fitted with UK headlights and rear fog light. A few bumps on the body work on the side but nothing major, see photos.
