Volkswagen Campervan Highline T6 (VW Camper not Jerba, heater, gas free, lithium upgrade, low miles)

This is a very well specified VW T6 campervan new in 2020

The van has covered only 37,000 so is very low mileage. Many of these vans have lived a full life as a commercial vehicle before conversion - not this one!

I bought it already fully converted 3 years ago, and its fair to say we have loved every minute of campervan ownership!

Not all VW campers are equal, and this one is very high spec, with particular features of note being:

- Battery upgrade to 230ah Lithium battery from Fogstar. This can charge from solar, mains, or it just charges from driving. Its fair to say that I never even have to think about battery charge - there is ALWAYS charge in this battery and we have used the van extensively off-grid;

- Gas free - gas is OK, but it takes up space in your van, and needs annual checks etc, and most important, you can run out! This van is gas free. It has diesel heating provided by a very high spec Wallas heater, and the Wallas also provides a ceramic hot plate/2 rings for cooking. Its a great bit of kit... A high-end converter in Scotland called Jerba uses them alot, so check out their YouTube vids if you want for more understanding.

- The pop-top is a really good model (an SCA 194 High Lift). These are a VW approved roof, and the extra lift in it makes the pop top so much more useable, as there is sitting height for adults etc. Has 2 mesh windows and a clear plastic window, and is a 'panoramic' zip open roof too, for more air or views etc

- RIB rear bench seat - the RIB's are the best on the market, being very safe, and giving a flat sleeping surface (unlike some competitors!)

- Front seat swivels AND Folds flat - most dont fold (they only swivel). It might sound like a small thing, but it adds so much practicality to using the space as a camper believe me

- Fridge - Vitrifrigo (50 litre I think) which is excellent and has a small ice box section

- Towbar

- Loads of USBs, 12 volk sockets, and mains sockets for when on hook-up

Its a great van, and I'm sad to see it go. Hopefully somebody else will love it just as much. We've been all over Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and France, and this van has never missed a beat.

Its just been serviced, new oil, new brake pads, new All Weather tyres recently. The van will go with a brand new MOT. No time wasters or tyre kickers please.
