A change in circumstances means we are selling our much-loved 2012 Vauxhall Vivaro campervan.

LWB (long wheelbase) 2.0 CDTI 114bhp – a solid, reliable van that’s been thoughtfully converted into a comfortable, fully off-grid camper with a very comfortable king-sized bed!

Perfect as a day van and everyday vehicle or for longer trips and brilliant camping adventures, weekends away, festivals, beach trips, surfing. We also have a large awning to sell and would be willing to do a deal if you buy both.

The solar panels and leisure battery in the campervan provide a fully OFF-GRID experience, giving you the freedom to explore wherever you want to go (we’ve even used it as a stealth camper) with no need for expensive or limited electric hook-up options. For convenience, we’ve installed multiple USB charging points throughout the van.

A split charge relay charges the battery as you drive, and a 240v battery charger (which can be used when you’re hooked up to the mains) provides a great backup in less-sunny months, should you need it.

Viv has been loved and had adventures – not sat as an ornament on a driveway – so has light scuffs and imperfections (Devon rash!) in places, but is generally a great-looking van and a very fun and practical camper conversion.

• The top of the storage unit is also very useful, and we’ve used it to stand a TV on, and for snacks and drinks and nighttime prep, washbags etc.

We used a Alpicool 50 litre fridge (not included) connected either to the 12V cigarette lighter socket in the control panel or to the 240V double socket when on mains supply.
