This 1994 automatic Toyota Hiace camper conversion drives a dream and is super reliable, with a great MOT record and full service history (full pass on the MOT in March 2026, and fully serviced at the same time). Please note, the mileage recorded on the MOT should be read in km rather than miles (200,000 km / 124,000 miles).

The exterior of this Hiace is in very good condition. Much of the bodywork is stunning for a vehicle of this age, with only minor scratches to the paintwork and fibreglass. We have had lots of the original bodywork restored by a prestige and vintage vehicle specialist (two major bodywork restoration projects completed in 2020 and 2025).

The interior habitation is a little tired but has suited us and our dog fine. It is fitted out in the original Yokohama, a neat Japanese design which maximises storage, worktop and sleeping space.

The seats can be set up in a forward facing mini-bus arrangement (total of eight seats), a dining area for three-five people or a decent sized bed for two adults. Panels can be pulled across to create a sleeping or storage space up top. The kitchen area is spacious with a three ring hob, loads of cupboard, surface and floor space and a sink. Some upgrades are required, such as a new fridge, leisure battery and a small repair to the awning.

We have owned this van for eight years. It has been our introduction into both campervanning and vintage vehicles and we have enjoyed putting a lot of love into its maintenance and bodywork restoration. This van has given us many happy miles in return. We are selling to upgrade to a bigger motorhome, to fit our growing family.
