MERCEDES VARIO 814D (Minibus) Campervan Project (Unfinished)

Legendary 4.25L Turbocharged Diesel Engine (Approx. 140BHP / 520NM Torque)

Vehicle has done approx. 135,000 KM / 85,000 Miles (Nothing for these engines.)

25 Seater Minibus purchased in OCTOBER 2022 to be converted, sadly due to personal circumstances never got round to finishing.

Has been 80% converted just needs finishing off / finishing touches.

Was purchased with a new 12 Month MOT, travelled less than 100 miles home and parked ever since, drove perfectly on route home from purchasing.

Currently SORN, wont take much if anything to get re-tested and back on the road.

Buyer responsible for any transportation / delivery.

Work carried out so far:

- 25 minibus seats removed, seat rails removed, old plywood floor removed.

- Chassis rust cleaned, undersealed.

- Steel floor stripped, cleaned, painted.

- Undersealed plywood floor installed, 25mm cellotex and batten installed, another layer of plywood installed and floor painted.

- Windscreen replaced including all rust repair (£500)

- Damaged passenger entrance doors removed due to damage, steps replaced.

- Back windows boarded over and insulated for bed area

- Old driver seat removed, seat base adapted to fit like-new 3 Series BMW (F30) leather seat. (£200)

- All thin plywood from walls removed and insulation removed and replaced with 25mm cellotex and 12.5mm plywood

- x2 New bosch starter batteries installed under drivers seat (£300)

- Installed Ford Tourneo / Custom double seat with integrated seat belts, bolted to chassis, quick release (£400)

- 450L Water insulated water tank installed and connected (£300)

- 210L Grey Water tank installed (£200)

- 120L Underslung LPG tank installed / painted, all copper pipes installed underfloor (£300)

- 2x Fiamma Turbo Vents installed in roof (£200)

- IMASS Instantaneous Water Heater installed (£650)

- Shurflo 20PSI Water Pump / Fiamma Accumulator installed (£150)

- 900mm x 900mm shower tray installed (£150)

- All associated wiring / hot and cold water pipes / copper pipes for LPG installed underfloor ready to go.

- Also included:

- 2x 230AH AGM Leisure Batteries (£600)
- Victron Energy 24-12V DC/DC Charger / Associated wiring all underfloor ready
- All wiring run for 12V ceiling lights, water pump, HW heater etc etc

Probably missing a lot of stuff out, everything that was purchased for the conversion does with the sale
