Gas Free, Euro 6, Long, 4 Berth Peugeot Expert Campervan with Awning

Description

The conversion was finished in 2024 and we've been all over the country in it since. It's so easy to drive and use that it makes you want to go away every weekend. And with it being gas free and having a big battery, you don't need to worry about running out of fuel.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is placed at the front of the van to give you the most space when cooking. An extendable tap allows you to wash inside but can also be used to clean things outside if needed. 19L water and waste containers are under the sink along with a vacuum operated water pump. Quick release pipes make it very easy to empty and refill water when needed. We also put a fire extinguisher in there too.

The double ring induction hob is big enough to cook any meals. And the pop up 4 sockets allow you to make a cup a tea whilst also giving you space to prepare your food. We also included a pull out tray above the fridge to give you even more food prep space.

The kitchen itself has one small cutlery draw and four large draws big enough for all your plates, cooking equipment and dry food. The fridge is deceptively large at 40L. Two fold out side tables extend the kitchen worktop even further. All doors and drawers are soft close and held shut by magnets. There is a double USB and a 120W power outlet on the switch board that controls all the lights and the water pump.

MAIN LIVING AREA
We put luxury vinyl (LVT) flooring throughout the van which is easy to clean and moisture resistant. There are 6 LED lights on the ceiling as well as an LED strip light in the pop top and behind the kitchen lighting the upstand. There are two extra 3 pin sockets and two double USB sockets.

Two side windows were professionally installed by WMPoptops. One is opening, one is fixed.

Two isofix seats can be folded down to create more seating areas or used as tables. These can also be removed (they are on quick release bases) to give you more living area. This makes it ideal for a couple to sleep in the pop top and have loads of living space but also perfect for a family of 4. Bench seats are on either side of the van. In between those is a Sequoia floor base which holds the table allowing you to have a comfy dining experience.

Underneath the driver's side bench seat is a large storage area that we used for clothes. The bench seat is split in half to give you easy access to either side. Next to that is more storage that we found fitted 2 children's camping seats perfectly with space to spare.

Underneath one half of the passenger bench seat is the inverter, the isolator and the consumer unit. There are also 2 bins for more storage. Underneath the other side of the bench seat is a composting toilet. This could be removed to give even more storage if you preferred.

There are also two overhead cabinets in the rear with soft close hinges. The attached netted storage pockets are ideal for putting remote controls, phones, kindles etc. On the underside of the pop top is a mount that we used for a magnetic based projector and at the end are the clips that held the screen.

SLEEPING
The purple pop top professionally installed by WMPoptops will comfortably sleep 2 adults. The air mattress is included as well.

The rear bed is 140cm wide by 175cm long and is made by folding out the driver's side bench seat to meet the other seat. The side cushion is placed in the middle. The table is placed between the two folded down isofix seats and the other side cushion is laid on top. The bed is the full width of the van to really maximise the space and we use a super king quilt with it. Easily sleeps 2 adults plus a little one if needed (ask us how we know!).

Black out curtains cover the front of the van and blinds are on both side doors. A wrap around windscreen and side window cover is also included for use in colder weather.

ELECTRICS
Powering the campervan is a Fogstar Drift Pro 230Ah Lithium (LiPo) battery. This is their top end battery. Has Bluetooth connectivity so you can see all details and turn the charging/discharging on and off via your phone.

A Renogy 3000w inverter with integrated power switch powers the 240v from the battery when you're off grid (will automatically switch between 240v and 12v when hooked up). This combined with the battery will provide enough power for everything you should need.

All electrics were designed and manufactured by Rayne Automotive to our exact specifications for what equipment we wanted in the campervan.

When hooked up, a 30A Victron charger and power supply feeds the 12v electrics and charges the Fogstar battery. There is also an 18A Victron smart charger which charges the Fogstar battery and powers the fridge when your engine is running. We also added a thermally controlled fan to keep the charger cool.

There are multiple isolation points for different circuits if you need to turn things off. All the power is protected by fuses and RCBOs. The 240v shore hookup is hidden under the rear bumper.

BEHIND THE BUILD
Underneath the 50mm raised floor is kingspan thermal insulation so your feet never feel cold. Behind the walls and all doors (front and rear) there is dodo sound deadening and recycled plastic insulation to keep you snuggly warm in winter and cooler in summer. All metal is also carpeted.

EXTERIOR
Two sliding side doors mean you can enter and exit from either side of the van. There are also awning rails on both sides hidden under the pop top. So you are able to drive or reverse into a pitch, put the awning on either side and still have a free door to go in and out without going through the awning if you wanted to. Inflatable Olpro Uno awning, as seen in the main picture, is included with the sale.

This is a really lovely campervan and we will be sad to see it go. Open to sensible offers.

VEHICLE DETAILS
Camper drives really well with no knocks or noises. It's easy to drive as it drives like a car and comes with cruise control and speed limiter. Built in Satnav with up to date maps. Apple car play built in and an android auto box for android users. This can be used to stream music or plug in through the USB port. Head unit has an uprated Amp which also powers the extra rear speakers in the back of the van. Great for making sure the kids can hear the music on the journey plus if you switch on Bluetooth mode on the speakers they're brilliant for watching a film in the back.

42+MPG, 6 speed, quiet engine runs lovely and pulls well. Previously used as a work van before we purchased so has a few marks on the exterior but nothing major at all. There are 2 chips in the windscreen from before we had it but these are not MOT advisories as they are out of the main view. No warning lights or known issues. No advisories on the previous 3 MOT's.

The rear view camera makes driving on the motorway a breeze. And the reversing camera combined with the sensors makes parking very easy.

Has 3 front seats and 2 rear isofix seats that can be removed if needed but add extra length to the bed when folded down.

Service History-
Has history with Peugeot (Devon). We have confirmation that the timing belt and water pump were replaced by them along with a major service on 11/05/2023 at 157,039 miles.
Oil and filter replaced July 2024 (van is 18000 miles or 2 year intervals)
Front and rear discs and pads replaced when we purchased it
Clutch replaced in July 2022
EGR cooler, Thermostat replaced November 2023
All 4 dampers replaced Jan 2024
AC condenser replaced Jan 2024
AC Pipe replaced Nov 2024 (had a pin hole)
