Description

Selling our 2011 Fiat Ducato 2.3 diesel campervan, which we have converted ourselves into a cosy and practical camper.

It has only been used on one trip since completing the conversion. Unfortunately, we’re just not getting the use out of it as my partner works most weekends, so we’ve decided to let it go.

🚐 The Van

* 2011 Fiat Ducato
* 2.3 diesel
* 32,000 miles
* MOT until March 2027 – approximately 8 months remaining
* Painted olive/green
* Fully insulated throughout with carpeted walls
* Rear ladder
* Electric roof fan/vent
* Curtains and blinds
* Large side windows providing plenty of natural light
* Kitchen and side windows open

The Conversion

The conversion is basically complete and ready to use, although it is a home conversion rather than a professionally built camper, so there are a few finishing jobs still to do.

What has been done:

* 200W solar panel
* 110Ah leisure battery
* 12V electrical system
* Fused electrical system
* 12V fridge
* Water tanks underneath the kitchen sink
* Kitchen sink and worktop
* Bathroom area with camping toilet
* Large amount of storage underneath the seating
* Overhead storage lockers
* Rear seating area which can be converted into a U-shaped seating area
* Wooden ceiling
* Cosy, neutral interior
* Electric roof vent/fan
* Curtains and blinds
* Fully insulated and carpeted walls
*Cushions custom made to make U shape sofa and bed - beige

The rear seating can be made into a U-shaped seating area. All that is really needed is a table leg, which we unfortunately never got around to fitting.

Finishing Jobs

Just to be completely transparent, there are a few things that still need finishing:

* Bathroom needs its internal walls added
* Sliding door is insulated but the insulation hasn’t been covered
* Some of the external paintwork isn’t perfect, particularly around the door/sliding door area
* A few other small cosmetic finishing touches
*van colour will need to be updated to green to DVLA.

These are mainly cosmetic/finishing jobs and aren’t really noticeable when the sliding door is closed, but we would rather be completely upfront about the condition.

Included but Not Fitted

The following have been purchased and will be included with the van:

* 230V consumer unit
* 2,000W inverter/converter
* 230V sockets

This has been a genuine home conversion, and we’ve put a lot of time and money into making it a comfortable and usable camper.

It isn’t a professionally converted motorhome, and there are a few finishing touches still to do, hence being completely upfront about everything. However, the majority of the conversion is complete and it is ready to use.

We’ve only taken it away on one trip and it’s been a great little camper, but realistically we just don’t have enough time to use it.

The low mileage of 32,000 miles is a great bonus for a 2011 van, and it has plenty of potential for someone who wants a camper that’s already had the majority of the conversion work completed but can put their own finishing touches on it.

Viewing welcome. Any questions or more pictures required please message me. 😊
