Say Hi to 'Tallulah'......

With a very heavy heart I have decided to part with my VERY ORIGINAL and beloved classic Hymermobil 582 motorhome Tallulah.

We have loved owning Tallulah for over 3years now however I feel the time has come to pass her on to a new loving, caring owner who will enjoy her as much as we have. She has spent many a happy hour at festivals, weekends away and camping with friends.

Born in 1978 Tallulah started life to German owners. From what I have learnt from previous owners she was then purchased by a lady in Surrey and imported to the UK in 1986 where she spent most of life garaged due to the loss of her partner. Since then she has had a further 4 owners in the UK. I took over ownership in August 2022.

Tallulah is rare lady indeed. It its believed that she may have been an early 'prototype' from Hymer and Bedford/Opal into the UK market hence proudly displaying her Bedford/Opal badges on her bonnet. She is based on a Bedford CF chassis.

I have lots of history too from original Bedford workshop/owners manuals to past owners, invoices, old MOT's etc. Some are even in German!

Tallulah has even been a feature star in MMM Magazine (The Motorhomers Magazine) And also a video interview with a previous owner on the MMM youtube Chanel.

Separate shower room incorporating 12v retro lighting, wardrobe, wash basin, sliding tray for chemical loo and a shower cubicle complete with the original shower curtain!
Original 'Truman' gas heater, although I have never had this running, would benefit from a service.
2No 100Ah leisure batteries, app controlled 'Victron' smart solar system. Installed during my ownership
Quality low light 300w solar panel fitted to roof. Controlled by Victron MPPT charge control. Installed during my ownership
Full length Fiamma F45 roll out awning.
3 external storage lockers (one large at rear, 2 smaller ones off side and nearside)

Although very lovely Tallulah is not perfect, she is after all over 47 years old. I would say at least 80% of the vehicle is original both internally and externally, this is what makes her sooooo loveable! I'm sure she would benefit from a fresh service, her brakes could do with a little 'fettle' and her exhaust is a little rattly however we have travelled many Kilometre's over the years and she hasn't missed a beat.

Viewing highly recommended and advisable to enjoy her in all her glory.

Please be aware that the fridge/freezer is NOT included in the sale however I will refit the original matching single padded seat I removed to fit the fridge. PERSONAL POSSESIONS as seen in the photos are not included in the sale. Please contact me if in any doubt of what's included.
