History:
The truck was originally converted as a mobile mammogram testing centre and used by the NHS thoughout the 2000's. It was then purchased by a Motocross enthusiast who kept the original basics but turned half of it into a garage and half into living. I purchased the camper in 2023 with a now ex partner and we re-converted most of it apart from the bedroom and bathroom to make it more comfortable and practical. Selling due to relationship breakdown.

Mechanics:
Bodywork in good condition, no structural rust. Recently had starter batteries replaced, new air tanks and new tilt cab cables. Runs perfectly and a lovely drive. Solid engine.

Bad bits: We didn't touch the bedroom in the re-conversion. It's liveable but in need of TLC now. We opened the side-door once and it was swollen so difficult to get back in and we didn't open again. This needs looking at eventually. Huge storage under the bed though. Bed lifts on a piston to access storage underneath.

Living in it:
Incredibly functional living space with full kitchen and a huge amount of storage. Thick 10mm ply seating and extra large drawers in seating area. Separate shower and sink room with bamboo roll door to separate the spaces. There is a toilet but we decided not to use as we have facilities where we live so boxed it off in a removable box which doubles up as seating. Very cosy burner from Glastonbury Burners stays lit all night in winter. Truck has excellent insulation, 5cm thick so warm in winter, cool in summer. I've lived comfortably here for 3 years. USB on switch panel and 240 sockets throughout. Running hot and cold water.

Other fun additions:

A winch which lowers a second side door down and out so you have a lovely platform to sit on in the summer and it also creates a nice through breeze when hot. Could go back to being a bike ramp.

Neumatic levelling suspension so the chassis can be leveled when on uneven ground. Doesn't last for long parking but fine for a night away.

One window which is great for privacy and a skylight for extra natural light.
