2005 R-VISION TRAIL LITE, WORKHORSE RV £27500

Description

After 3 amazing years of owning and touring in this absolute beauty we have decided it's time to sell as we are wanting to downsize to a smaller campervan. We have been to over 40 sites all over the UK and enjoyed every minute of having this epic vehicle.
We spent the first 10 weeks of owning Pos completely upgrading and updating the interior decoration including adding solid oak kitchen work top making a matching fold away oak dining table, and lifting flap to extend kitchen work top above steps, a deep full sized black kitchen sink with hose shower tap, high gloss white brick effect tiling in kitchen and bathroom, oak effect laminate flooring in living area and carpet in bedroom. The double bed has been adjusted so that it now fits a full king size mattress with storage space under bed that lifts on gas struts, a small safe has been bolted in place under bed for valuables. All cupboards drawers doors have been painted two different shades of grey with white walls and copper highlights. Grey thermal lined curtains were made to measure (£750) for the main driving window and all other widows except kitchen window which has a roller blind. The living room and bedroom windows also all have double privacy to black out blinds fitted and all pelmets reupholstered to match. Extra storage space has been created by installing deep shelf above the main door and in the bedroom. Grey sheep skin rugs used to cover the driver and passenger seats which can be fully turned round to face the living area.

At 8 metres long, 3.6m high and 2.5m wide this is the smallest RV available with no push outs the length is comparable to most large motorhomes at 8 Metres the only difference is the height and width.
In terms of driving her about as long as you have a decent sat nav that you can put dimensions in no problems as said previously we have managed to go and stay at over 40 touring sites and know that there are hundreds more in the UK this beauty would be welcome and able to visit plus the opportunity to go further afield than the UK we haven't got round to taking her to Europe but know that she would be ideal in France Spain and so many other places.

LAYOUT:

Entrance door on right hand side of vehicle automatic steps and a further two steps inside door leading into the living room space which comprises of a 3 seater grey leather effect rock n roll sofa that doubles as a bed (small double size) two large comfy armchair style driver and passenger seats that recline and can be turned to face out to the road or into the living space, multiple overhead storage cupboards and a mounted TV with inbuilt DVD player wind up Arial and atomic satellite dish there is also a inbuilt sound system/radio but we have never used this. Underfloor blown hot air heating vents central heating system that can control heat and air conditioner (air-conditioning system in place but is currently not working as motor needs replacing can be done we just didn't need it so didn't spend money sorting) manual opening roof vent large living room windows and two bedroom windows slide open and also have fly screen protectors. blackout sheets for the big front window are also included and can be put up fast and easy with use of velcro either when more darkness needed or for extra insulation either to help keep heat in when cold or the sun out when hot

Kitchen comprises of deep full sized black sink with shower head mixer tap, 3 ring burner hob, small gas oven, microwave, extractor fan hood and light, large American fridge with two shelf freezer variety of under and above storage cupboards and drawers.

Bathroom comprises of small bath tub with overhead head shower vanity unit with wash basin and storage cupboard, vanity wall mounted mirror cupboard with lighting and Thetford pedal flushing toilet. An extra rail has been fitted above the bath as this can double up if needed as extra wardrobe space.

Bedroom comprises of full king size bed with top quality UK made mattress gas struts lift the bed revealing extra storage space along with fitted small safe and extra storage spaces made to accommodate kingsize mattress two large over head cupboards above bed small half wardrobe to right of bed and two deep drawers, a full length deep shelf has been installed at bottom end of bed for extra storage and a full length mirror fitted to the wall curtain in place to divide bedroom from kitchen/living area. Roof vent with automatic electric fan that closes if rain is detected can change setting to manual also.

When we first purchased the RV we had a full works service completed at a specialist RV garage in Northampton costing over £8000 including new tyres discs, brakes and pads, new steering shaft, ball joints, new circuit board fitted to water heater and all appliances serviced

Externally the RV has several large storage cupboards one houses 4kw petrol built in generator (this was also serviced but we have never had to use it) one cupboard contains the pipes for dumping waste.

3 x leisure batteries are housed in outer cupboard at back of van along with a large solar panel on roof for offgriding. There are fixed ladders on back of vehicle for access to the roof and solar panel

Self leveling hydraulic system installed (we haven't had to use this so would need checking before using)

Fixed A&E Whined out awning above entrance door, 4metres

The RV engine runs on either LPG or petrol

Mileage approx 45,000 miles
