We’re selling our much-loved 1999 VW T4 Auto-Sleeper Clubman GL, which we’ve owned since 2017. During that time, we’ve enjoyed around 12,000 miles of travel across the UK and Europe.

This 2-berth, 2-seatbelt Auto-Sleeper Clubman is in great overall condition. Externally, it retains the original Clubman styling and presents beautifully.

Inside, it’s equally impressive. In 2020, it was professionally re-upholstered including new foam in high-quality VW Gti green plaid, giving the interior a fresh, modern look. Matching curtains complete the stylish finish.

There’s ample storage throughout – including cupboards, under-seat lockers, a wardrobe, kitchen cabinets, and even a cocktail cabinet. The well-equipped kitchen features a gas oven, 2-burner hob, grill, sink with drainer, and a 3-way fridge that performs well and has just been serviced.
Hot water is supplied by an efficient Truma Combi boiler (professionally fitted in 2021, replacing the original Carver unit). The bathroom includes a Thetford cassette toilet, vanity unit, sink, and full shower. Electric blown-air central heating keeps the van warm and cosy in cooler months.

The comfortable lounge area converts easily from two bench seats and a table into either two singles or one large double bed – ideal for both relaxing and sleeping. The engine is the desirable and efficient 2.5 TDI which provides ample power effortlessly. The vehicle dimensions are 5.56 meters long / 2.2 meters wide and 2.7 meters high making it a very easy vehicle to drive, manoeuvre and park.
