Basically I have a core of one of these, plus all the plastics Except the front cone.
I've never tried to run it, but I believed upon inspecting it, that the electronics got wet at some point. That may not be so obvious now, because I cleaned it up a little after I got it. (saves you doing it)
It turns nicely enough, and doesn't look sooty for what that's worth.
