"Dometic's Rally Tour poled awning range proves once again that they produce some of the best lightweight awnings on the market!
Don't be fooled however, this new awning has more than a fresh coat of paint. The all-new Weathershield™ Tour fabric features a rip-stop polyester thread woven into the fabric to help strengthen the material against sharp objects. The fabric is still premium at 300 denier, and has been treated with an increased waterproofing level for more consistent weather protection throughout. Additionally Dometic's use of dope-dyeing has vastly reduced the amount of water used in the dyeing process. As these fibres are dyed before they're spun the colour persists fully throughout the fabric, this reduces the visual effect of UV fading on the awning and keeps them looking good as new for longer!
As well as the new fabric, Dometic's Rally Tour awnings have implemented a number of features. One fantastic addition is the multi-height adjustment system, bringing the suitable vehicle heights up to 235 - 265cm. Paired with this change is the addition of a dual kador bead, so these poled awnings are now suitable for caravans and motorhomes. One other notable change is the addition of Apex ventilation points on either side of the awning to provide natural ventilation without drafts.
The Rally Tour 390 awning now features 2 large front panels rather than the smaller 3 panel design of previous seasons. Large crystal clear PVC windows provide a wealth of natural light, and updated traditional internal blinds provide great daylight shielding if required.

We opened the carrying bag and checked everything was there then put it back in again. Three of the side panels have not even been unwrapped. (Still have tissue paper between them)
We then had the chance of a new caravan and bought it, only to find our new 390 awning was too long for it so we now need to buy a 330 long one!!
Purchased from Towsure on 1st August 2025 for £655. I have the receipt for it. Only a few weeks ago. View before you buy. Can be erected on our pergola in our garden before you buy.
