Mark is a 2x World Record setting adventurer and European Adventurer of the Year. His talk is packed with polar bears, ice bergs and actionable lessons for thriving in adversity.

He and his team were the first people to kayak the entire Northwest Passage in the Arctic, and the first to do it under human power. It was an epic journey, which took 103 days, full of adversity and beauty.

The tales are exciting, emotional, informative and funny all in equal measure.

Marks and Spencer said they cannot recommend him highly enough.

The NHS said it was "the best presentation I've heard in a long time".

It really was one of the best presentations I have heard in quite some time. I really appreciate the time you took to blend the entertaining stories of your adventures with a structured break out groups considering aspects of leadership, resilience and adversity – all essential skills for survival in the current NHS!

It was an absolute pleasure to have Mark come and talk to our GP trainee group. As well as him being very responsive to our communications, his talk was inspiring, engaging, entertaining and poignant. We shared in the highs and lows of his experiences as an adventurer, and along the way learnt that even what might be considered a failure has value for learning and personal growth. Since the event, I can tell there is pace to get onboard with new ideas. I can tell there is a step change in how leaders are talking to each other.
