EXCEPTIONAL VINTAGE EDWARDIAN Ivory Wax Flower Orange Blossom bridal wedding Headdress-Tiara- Crown, a matching pair of Corsages, a pair of ivory white gloves and ivory ribbons set with the original green presentation box (as photographed). It is an absolutely delightful and exquisite beautiful wax floral bridal set. Veil has been used for display purposes and is not included in this sale. The condition of the wax flowers are incredible they are excellent quality, stable, brilliant in brightness and clear in colour. The ivory buds enclose gorgeous rich yellow colour stamen filaments with a hint of green at the base of the buds, quite spectacular. It has been lovingly stored and looked after. No fading or damage to the wax flowers they remain wonderfully preserved. The headdress crown design consists of intricately placed ivory wax buds on stems in an upright bonnet position with beads edging the crown base. The crown is wired bound in a fern green silk thread. The crown is finished with a waxed fabric leaf spray arrangement at either side with green woven braid drops h beads and single wax bud droplets. Some droplets are missing. However, it is a timeless period bridal piece and this does not in any way detract from this beautiful wedding set. There is a matching pair of corsages, each corsage contains 4 waxed orange blossom buds with bright yellow blossom centres, framed by more ivory wax flower in sprays, with silk braided droplets. A ribbon, which is original and clean, with a wonderful pair of ivory white silk embroidered matching scoop cut fitted gloves presented in an original green presentation box. Advisory: One glove has a very tiny mark on the underside. This bridal set would be perfect for a vintage wedding 1920’s themed event, for antique bridal collectors, buyers of antique period clothing.
