This book is a first edition of the serialised works conducted by Charles Dickens. "All The Year Round" was a Victorian periodical of a weekly literary magazine founded and owned by Charles Dickens. It was published between 1859 and 1895 throughout the United Kingdom. Edited by Dickens, it was the direct successor to his previous publication Household Words. There is a wealth of information about this set of works online.
This book is bound in the original publisher's cloth with Vol X stamped onto the spine. It's in fair but delicate condition with no spine lean, but the front end-paper is starting to detach from the internal book which is repairable. Inscription to first end-paper.
Internally its in good condition throughout. A piece of history and something fine to look after for the next generation and something that will only gain in value.
