The Reader's Digest AA Book of the Road - Vintage book
Incorporating the Ordnance Survey four miles to the inch series
Second Edition, 1967
A Very Heavy Book weighing 968g with 412 pages.
It has a wealth of information in it and whilst some will be out of date, the majority will provide a lot to learn from, and all in one book!
It was my parents book which was very well used by them and all of us children.
Some of the areas it covers are:
Reading the signs
Cars from the past
Clues to the weather
Town plans
The British Isles by road
Wild flowers
Mushrooms and toadstools
Fruits and nuts
Birds
Butterflies and moths
Sea shells
Pebbles on the beach
Due to being well used and its age, it is not in a good condition. I would say it is in a Fair Condition. It has scratches, scuffs and the cover is coming away from the spine. There are no pages missing and there is no writing on the pages.
