Originally published in 1915, this copy is the March 1921 reprint.
A fascinating early 20th-century practical toy-making handbook, extensively illustrated with 58 photographs and 178 line drawings. Includes detailed designs, measurements and instructions for making traditional toys, including dolls’ houses and other wooden toys.
Original period illustrated covers with wonderful vintage advertising to the rear.
Condition is well used and commensurate with its age. The covers show considerable rubbing, creasing and edge/corner wear, with general age-related marks and tanning internally. Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the condition description.
A lovely collectible for anyone interested in antique toys, dolls’ houses, woodworking, social history or early 20th-century craft books.
