Traditional Ness Yole Famous "Aluna Ivy" Near exact replica of 1903 Yole. Built 1993 on Fair Isle for experienced owner by Norway trained Ian Best. Length 23ft 7". Weight incl trailer 800 kg. Larch on grown oak, treenail fastened and copper clenched. Oiled and recently varnished. Linen dipping lug sail and synthetic square sail. Transom and side rudders. Tarred hemp and hempex rigging. Six oars. Twin axle trailer/winch/.spare wheel. Exhibited UK, France, Iceland. Featured in Classic Boat magazine when selected as one of the world’s most beautiful boats. Ready to sail/row.
