Absolute bargain, ill health forces sale. Built by GT Marine 1998, 62ft traditional narrow boat with boatman cabin and separate engine room.
New survey on hull, plus grit blasted and epoxy tar coated, Completely refitted. New floors, new ballast, interior metal de-rusted and treated.
The list of features is endless. Squirrel Stove for heating, Kingfisher slow revving engine in great order. Stainless header tank, no more bad fuel issues, boatman cabin, separate engine room,
Underneath, outside bottom of boat epoxy tar coated, anodes replaced. All new appliances, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, tried but never used.
The reason this boat is offered so cheap is the work that I still need to do and can’t due to health issues. Plumbing and electrics need finishing. Needs bilge pumps X 2 for rear and centre water tight divisions.
Fuel tank requires fuel pump and pipe. Engine running sweet and can be demonstrated.
Currently out of water for buyers inspection. Boat is in marina hard standing at Garstang, on the Lancaster canal.
This boat has been through the “Ribble Link” into the Leeds Liverpool canal system and there for does not need to stay on Lancaster canal, or the expense of road transport to deliver elsewhere.
