Description
Prospector. 16’ x 35” x 13” (5m x 89cm x 35cm) 29kg
Fibreglass construction, made with woven cloth (not chopped strand mat) and polyester resin. Heavier glass and reinforcing ribs on the bottom where the extra strength is needed. Integral air tanks.
Central carrying yoke and handles at each end, webbing seats, varnished wooden gunwales, stainless steel fastenings.
The Prospector is probably the most classic of all Canadian canoe designs. It has a fine entry and moderate rocker for a canoe that can handle all conditions from heavy white water to rough seas. It's excellent manoeuverability makes it the canoe of choice for many experienced canoeists and instructors.
New and unused.
